I’m not advocating anything except Please don’t buy Sony Music CDs. There’s much better music that won’t put your computer in the tank. And yes, I’ve read about Sony’s “patching” efforts. This isn’t face-saving on their part; they lost their credibility when they released this stuff from the git-go, and hence there is no face to save.

And for all the NASCAR fans of Ryan Newman, one of his associate sponsors is Sony. If you’re a Newman fan, root away; Ryan has nothing to do with this.

When the time comes to replace all the Sony gear I’ve got, I’ll look for other options. In the interim, they’re getting no more of my business.
