No, it wasn’t the aisle after aisle of fake trees, lights, and ornaments. Not the phony wreaths. And, nope, not even the usual assortment of peppermint and chocolate candies.1
Our local Target has a security guard checking receipts as you exit the place. Nothing says “Peace on Earth” like that.
