All Hail the Mighty Chieves!

Final from Arrowhead Stadium, from where I witnessed one of Willie Nelson’s Picnics, but I digress:

Kansas City 31, Denver 27.

The real hat tip goes to Channel 9 in DC, for finally realizing the fact that the earth doesn’t drop off sharply 100 miles west of here.

    Hi, BB:
Been a lotta’ years, but Waylon, Jerry Jeff Walker, Kansas, and the Grateful Dead were there, as well as a bunch that I can’t recall now. An awesome spectacle it was. Makes me feel younger thinkg about it.

And,it was brutally hot that day.

Cool-I’ve never been to mega-outdoor festival-type event… let me backtrack-closest I cam was outdoor seating in Philly for The Stones, Foreigner and Peter Tosh back in ‘78.I remember the drive back to NY-dreaming I was driving a car and falling asleep until I would wake up and realize I was driving a car and falling asleep.

Have you heard any of Django Walker’s music(JJ’s son)? Waylon’s son is supposeed to be very talented too.
