House Reacts on Patriot Act

An update on my earlier PA post: The Senate passed its action on a voice vote; a wonderful gesture of accountability on their part.
Now the House of Representatives says we can extend the Patriot Act for one month, requiring a meeting of the Congressional/Senatorial minds.

Senate Caves, Patriot Act extended

I can’t find any results of the vote. They’ve apparently agreed to extend the PA for 6 months, while they negotiate safeguards to personal freedoms. Nice to know that our freedoms are negotiable.
