I can’t find any results of the vote. They’ve apparently agreed to extend the PA for 6 months, while they negotiate safeguards to personal freedoms. Nice to know that our freedoms are negotiable.

This crap is driving me inexorably insane. I can only stand so much cognitive dissonance.
Having GWB stand at a podium and talk about circumventing people’s civil liberties in order to protect civil liberties is far too Orwellian for my little brain.
J&K-Here in Taiwan during last presidential election, both incumbent pres & VP,staged their own attempeted assassination. all the details are very spurious at best. everytime I was tempted to get on my “great white man’s” high and mighty horse, I bit my lip and ashamedly kept silent. for I am the one from the grat democracy where a man had his brother fix the presidency for him.
Stings like a bitch at times. So, sorry to say-the rest is just “details.” God save America-quickly please. I’m really hoping that the internet/blogging/podcasting transparenct tools will help bring about our country’ salvation from the corporate/political rape of our assets and pillaging of our rights.
