Shopping Malls

I’m watching the evening news, and part of the coverage this time of year turns to last minute shoppers crowding the malls. It suddenly occurred to me, that I can’t recall the last time I went to a big shopping mall.
I can’t say I’m sorry about that, either.

February 3rd is the new Date

For the Patriot Act expiration, that is. The Senate approved the House changes by “unanimous consent” last night. Senator Warner of Virginia made the motion, and since he was the only Senator in the chamber at the time, according to WTOP Radio’s report, the motion carried. Fancy that.
