Out of the box, the Motorola Razr V3c, as used by Verizon, isn’t natively supported by Macintosh iSync. The v3 Razr which appears on that list is the Cingular and/or T-Mobile version.
Enter the Motorola RAZR V3c iSync Plugin, from Brian Toth. I just downloaded and installed it. iSync recognized the phone right off, after a device scan. The first sync attempt hung.
I moved the phone to the USB port directly off the laptop, and tried the iSync again. My previously empty address book on the Mac is now populated with the Razr’s stored name/number list. Sweet!
Next step: add a home phone number to a contact in Address Book, sync again. All hands safe.
iCal to phone sync is supported, too. I haven’t tried that yet, but in Brian’s words:
Also, like before, these changes were tested with the Verizon version of the phone. I verified that both bluetooth and USB syncing work, though iCal syncing is still flaky. That may just be the phone or iSync itself.
I love it when known limitations are acknowledged up front. I was in search of address book sync, which worked fine.
Brian accepts PayPal donations; he’s got one coming from me this weekend.

what version OS X are you using? Did you have to use a special USB cable? any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I’m using OSX 10.4.5. I used a USB cable I had lying around. Nothing special about the cable itself.
The only thing I had to do was to plug the cable into a port directly on the laptop (don’t go through a USB hub, in other words). It worked great.
Hope this helps.
