Anheuser-Busch, having purchased the Rolling Rock Brewery, has seen fit to close the RR brewery in Latrobe PA, and move its operations to Newark NJ.
Another icon and tradition is no more.

I wish I could get RR here now. That way, I would go buy a few bottles of RR that was likely made in Latrobe. Then in a few months, I’d buy some Newark, NJ RR, and do a taste test of the two breweries. That would make a great blog entry.
Now that RR is an AB property, it’s likely to be distributed in PR. AB has a bottling plant here, and is well distributed on the island.
