A new flavor of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream has arrived on the scene: Creme Brulee.
Sorry my HTML expertise and general sloth preclude the adding of the little hats and accents atop the letters in creme brulee.
Never mind; this stuff is awesome; it’s simply described as Sweet Custard Ice Cream with a Caramelized Sugar Swirl.
I’d have put a picture of the carton on this post, but their lousy Flash-enabled site forbids me from saving the graphics.
So here’s the deal; head to your local store; buy it and try it. If you like it, buy more. If you don’t, pack it in dry ice and FedEx it to me next day air. We simply can’t let this flavor go to the Graveyard of Departed Flavors, which B&J feature on their website.
And even SWMBO, Ms. “I don’t like desserts”, loves it.

In an earlier life as a cook in a fine dining establishment, I used to make Creme Brulee. It involved heavy cream, a wire whisk, brown sugar, Gran Marnier, raspberries and a propane torch. Which makes it not only tasty, but really fucking cool.
The next time we meet up, remind me of it and I will fire up the torch.
Funny you should say that James. I did the same except I used gasoline and when I fired up the torch… Actually sounds most delicious. xD
