New Livery

This poor old pixel torturing weblog at least looks spiffy, thanks to the Shades of Gray theme, based on the Sandbox theme.

I don’t pretend to understand how those themes interact, all I know is you need the Sandbox, and then another theme rides atop that. I like minimalistic themes; this one satisfies that preference, while at the same time providing a little flair.

I’ve wanted something with a nice header graphic for a while; the one currently on display is a 1911 image of Akron OH. It came with the theme, and thanks to the excellent documentation, I can change it at will. As soon as I have something cool to put up there, that is.

Maybe my writing will improve to do justice to the elegance of the new look. I can dream, can’t I?
