Today finds me heading southward to my shabby cubicle, to fix up some Solaris jumpstarts. We’re switching to flash archives for provisioning our Solaris boxen, and for some reason, root passwords are coming up unset. Not a Good Thing. I knew this was happening before I left on Friday; it was late, and I just couldn’t deal with it then.
I think I know what I did, and hopefully the fix will be quick, easy, and painless.
The real Al Bundy wouldn’t let such a situation interfere with his vacation; I, however, have a nagging streak of conscientiousness.
So off I go!
