A couple of posts back, I mentioned that I was making a trip down to my shabby cubicle, to handle some anomalies with Solaris jumpstarts, wherein root passwords were coming out blank.
I solved the problem, almost trivially, by telling the jumpstart software to set the root passwords, which in my last Friday’s end-of-long-week denseness, I’d neglected to do.
All hands safe; my cohorts can now jumpstart systems at will, while I enjoy the Bundy Fun Days.
