A Resolution Intact

I’ve never made a big deal about New Year’s resolutions, much less publish any, here on this old blog. Somewhere along the road, I made myself a promise during 2008 to refrain from visiting CNN’s website, and further not to tune to DirecTV channel 202, the teevee outlet of these 21^st century miserable lapdog specimens.

And, in this, the 3^rd quarter of 2008 A.D., I have kept my promise to myself. I may have been in a bar lounge where CNN was on the tube, I may have clicked a link on other blogs that have taken me to individual stories the site to which I don’t link, but I’ve never deliberately keyed in the url, nor punched 202 on the remote.

And this is a good thing, and I will continue on.

Good riddance, CNN.
