Not to be a stickler for details, which by necessity would ruin 100% of everything Boortz ever says, but we celebrate Independence from England, not freedom in and of itself. Everyone in the colonies achieved Independence from England on July 4th, 1776. Not everyone achieved freedom that day.
I’m just saying.
