The waxing and waning of the Hanna rain bands make me a little woozy. I think it’s over, and then here comes another wave. A wave of buckets, more precisely. And the wind is picking up a bit.
We’re warm, dry, powered up, and happy. Still, I’ll be glad when this is over. I gotta make a beer run.

Discerning readers will note that the right sidebar now no longer has Bridgeport WV weather, and that the West Virginia University logo that displayed randomly has morphed into a Kansas Jayhawk.
This is as it should be

Seems like every time I visit this old blog, the West Virginia University logo is in the right sidebar. There are three graphics that display, in some sort of random order.
No matter. Go Mountaineers! Except for basketball season1, in which case it is, was, and ever shall be Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
And maybe a clearing of the FireFox browser cache is in order ..

The Bridgeport WV weather has been promoted ahead of the Reston VA forecast in the sidebar.
tbbs-land will be ready when I begin typing this drollery from Almost Heaven.
Though the heavenward direction starts with my seeing Northern Virginia recede in my rear view mirror.
A beautiful sight, to be topped only by Wild, Wonderful West Virginia.
Start your engines!

If you visit the blog, as 3 or 4 readers do faithfully each day, you may see a West Virginia University logo from time-to-time in the right sidebar.
No worries; I’m a Kansas Jayhawk at heart, and will bleed Crimson and Blue for the rest of my years.
OK, then.

Just downloaded HotSSH, a Gnome front-end for OpenSSH, and the associated md5 checksum file.
A quick
cfv -t md5 -f hotssh-0.2.5.md5sum hotssh-0.2.5.tar.gz
and I validated my download. Much better method than doing an md5sum myself and then squinting to compare checksums.

The aforementioned road trip has been reloaded for August 8.
Providing my little bride will still let me drive her car.

Since we’re not driving home after the road trip that didn’t happen, I’m enjoying the NASCAR race from the Brickyard on the tbbs WorldHQ teevee.
Silver linings, etc…

Not a Search for America Tour by a long shot, just a weekend road trip, which commences mid-afternoon tomorrow. Just my little bride and me in the Saturn.
The cat will be tended by our loyal neighbor three doors down, who ministers to him on our longer journeys. I’m hoping we can find the NASCAR race on the radio, whilst we motor back home on Sunday.
