ten billion butterfly sneezes

I couldn’t read them all, but I made it a point to seek out other blogs that were paying tribute to The Acidman over the last several days. I read comments, tributes, followed links to archives, and came up with this post from July 2003, wherein Rob expounded on his view of blogosphere organization:

I do like the idea of LINKERS and THINKERS on blogs. You have the godfather as the ultimate linker and he who thinks too much as the ultimate thinker. In between you have the STINKERS, like me.

The godfather is Instapundit, “he who thinks too much” is Steven Den Beste. Then, we have Rob and the rest of the stinkers.

It occurred to me that there’s another blog classification not listed above, and you are reading one now. Had Rob seen this place, he would have been compelled to add another category for blogs of my ilk: the CLINKERS.
