Last Tuesday, Constantine, the Fedora 12 Beta, was released. I make it a point to upgrade sooner rather than later. And, thanks to Fedora’s preupgrade, followed by 1.1G of downloads, and what seemed to be interminable disk-thrashing, the upgrade finished, and /etc/redhat-release now reveals:

Last Monday, tbbsLand went to WordPress 2.8.2, and I sadly neglected to document that event.
Tonight, in another painless upgrade, this old blog went to WP 2.8.3. Both were security-related updates.
If they want an upgrade a day, I’ll do that, too.

As documented here, I activated the heretofore unnoticed Automatically discard spam comments on posts older than a month checkbox in the Akismet WordPress plugin.

I may get under 10 million hits a month here at this old blog; that doesn’t hinder me in upgrading to 2.6.1 WordPress. I just got finished; another flawless upgrade.
